The Spring Season is in full swing. Flowers are blooming and the bees are buzzing. We celebrated Easter with family and friends. Magnolia Baptist Church hosted a community wide Easter Egg Hunt and fun was had by all. There was story time about the real meaning of Easter: Jesus died on the cross for everyone’s sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Festivities included eating hamburgers and hot dogs, taking pictures with the Easter bunny, door prizes, and a petting zoo. The baby chicks and baby goat were big hits. People enjoyed the atmosphere of fellowship. Also, we had some very talented face painters!
